What You Get
A 4 recess mounting parking sensor system of high quality that will cover the widest of cars giving a professional finish. Included in the kit with the 4 recess sensors is a digital display with inbuilt buzzer, which gives audible bleeps with increasing frequency as you get closer to an obstacle and a digital countdown in cm (there is an on/off switch for the buzzer).

How it works
The system works by radiating ultrasonic beams covering the area to the rear of the vehicle. The beams are reflected by any obstructions behind the vehicle, they then re-enter the sensors. The reflected beam information is processed by the control box to calculate the distance of your vehicle from the obstruction.
As with the other systems the Dolphin unit is activated when reverse gear is engaged. As the vehicle is reversed. When the vehicle is less than 1.5 metres from the obstruction the audible alert will emit intermittent bleeps. As the vehicle approaches the obstruction the frequency of the bleeps increases. At 30 centimetres from the obstruction the bleeps become a continuous solid tone.

Swap Socket Feature The kits now come with a watertight swap socket feature based 6 inches from the sensor heads, it allows quicker easier installation. Also should you ever have a problems in future with accident damage or faulty sensors it facilitates easy replacement without having to remove the bumper again and rewire from scratch. |
Optional Wedges
This system comes with optional angled wedges, giving greater flexibility according to the shape of your bumper.

Maintenance
No routine maintenance or adjustment is required. Dirt, frost or snow accumulated on the sensors may cause the system to activate incorrectly. The sensors can be washed carefully with warm soapy water

Just had the DPS rear parking sensors fitted to my Mazda 3 and they are absolutely brilliant. A friend who has the same car with factory fitted sensors thinks mine are better especially with the dash display.
